It’s been another busy fortnight in Year 1!
In the last 2 weeks, students have been working on :
- In SMILE, we completed activities that helped us with our listening and cooperating skills, how to work together, communicate effectively and give feedback.
- In Maths, we have continued working on sharing into equal groups.
- Also in Maths, we have been learning about shapes and their features.
- In Reading, we have been learning about the purpose of texts.
- In Writing, we have been writing recounts about our excursion to CERES and our fabulous art incursion where we painted butterflies.
- In Connected Learning, we are learning about countries all over the world. We have a passport and we pretend to fly to different countries. This week it was Vietnam. It was amazing!
We have had a great two weeks.
