STEM Year 3 & 4
Our Year 3 and 4 students have embarked on an exciting journey into the world of robotics using Edison robots. These programmable robots are providing students with hands-on experience in coding and problem-solving, laying a strong foundation for their STEM education. Both year levels have done an amazing job using barcodes to program the Edisons and will soon use EdBlocks to create their own programs.

STEM Year 5 & 6
Our Year 5 and 6 STEM students are building on last term’s skills and diving headfirst into their very own SPHERO Olympics! In teams the students are:
- Designing flags & chariots: Teams are sketching and crafting creative chariots using recycled materials, then decorating them with colourful flags—perfect for the big reveal before the action begins.
- Opening Ceremony: Each team will proudly display their flag and chariot, getting a chance to size up their competitors before the games start.
- Training for the Games: Students are preparing for events like speed skating, figure skating, hockey, and alpine skating, where they’ll drive and code their Spheros around obstacle courses and tracks. This hands-on experience develops real-world STEM skills in physics, engineering, coding, and teamwork.
