Year 5s have returned from camp full of energy and are already diving headfirst into their learning. In Weeks 9 and 10, students have commenced their final projects for Term 3, which include:
- Students have been focusing on information reports and have begun planning and drafting their writing. Their passion for their chosen topics has kept them highly engaged, and they’re looking forward to finalising and sharing their work at Expo in week 11!
- They have been highly engaged in their Connected research project on endangered animals. Their level of enthusiasm and creativity has been fantastic, and they’re looking forward to putting together their final presentations soon.
- The Year 5s haven’t stopped talking about their first camp experience and recently had the opportunity to share it with their Prep Pals. They showed great initiative in leading discussions about the camp layout, daily structure, and the different activities. Most of all, they loved sharing their personal highlights and the challenges they were proud to overcome — including the Big Swing, Crate Climb, and High Ropes!
We’re looking forward to a strong finish to Term 3! The Year 5s should be incredibly proud of all they have achieved so far.
