Year 5 students have made a fantastic start to Term 2. It has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm as they reconnected with their Prep Pals, sharing stories and reflecting on their recent school holidays.
This term, students have also begun their Biography unit in Writing. They are eagerly researching a historical figure, exploring key life events, and developing their understanding of the past through detailed investigation and inquiry.
We were also fortunate to welcome Scott Darlow, who visited the school to lead an engaging incursion on First Nations Peoples and share his experiences as an Indigenous musician. Students gained valuable insight into culture, storytelling, and history through his presentation.
In addition, we celebrated a Japanese Cultural Day, which included an exciting incursion and a special visit from Squirtle, making the experience both fun and memorable for students.
